TCI had decades of experience in insurance brokerage and commercial risk management, but no established communication system around the brand.
The challenge was not simply to explain what the company sells. It was to make complex financial and commercial-risk topics relevant to different business decision-makers — and build a communication ecosystem capable of doing that consistently across platforms.

TCI already had deep expertise and a long-standing position in its category. What it did not yet have was an active editorial and social communication structure capable of translating that expertise into public-facing content.
Commercial insurance and risk-management products are also inherently difficult to communicate. Their value often becomes clear only when a company understands the risk that exists before the need for insurance becomes visible.
This meant product promotion alone would not be enough.
TCI speaks to audiences with very different responsibilities and decision-making contexts. Senior executives in large organisations, finance teams, risk professionals and SME decision-makers may ultimately need similar products, but their motivations, questions and levels of knowledge are not the same.
Rather than making insurance products the centre of communication, Recreative built the content strategy around the conditions that make those products relevant.
This shifted the brand from explaining products to helping its audiences understand the business environment in which those products become necessary.
Thought leadership became the bridge between expertise, relevance and commercial awareness.
Useful before promotional.
LinkedIn became the primary environment for expert-led communication, research interpretation, business-risk perspectives and decision-maker content. The goal was to build relevance among senior business audiences without reducing the communication to product promotion.
YouTube created space for longer conversations. Interview formats, sector discussions and expert commentary allowed complex issues to be explored with greater context, while also giving the brand visible human expertise.
X was used for sharper, more immediate perspectives around current economic developments, commercial risk and timely business topics.
Instagram translated selected subjects into more visual, concise and accessible formats, creating an easier entry point for audiences outside TCI's most specialised professional context.
The work was designed as an ongoing communication system rather than a sequence of unrelated posts.
Research, current developments, sector knowledge and TCI expertise were translated into repeatable editorial formats that could evolve across platforms.
The same subject could travel across multiple channels, but the execution was adapted to the behaviour and audience of each platform rather than duplicated unchanged.
Thought-leadership carousels · Business and commercial-risk explainers · Research and data interpretation · Current-topic commentary · Expert interviews · YouTube conversation formats · Short-form video · Platform-specific adaptations · Ongoing editorial planning
Some subjects need more than a carousel. TCI's YouTube formats created a longer editorial space for economists, industry specialists and company leaders to discuss the business conditions behind risk, growth and financial decision-making.
The video content was designed as part of the wider communication system rather than as a separate channel initiative.
The objective was not growth for growth's sake. Audience development was the result of creating a consistent reason to follow the brand: useful information, expert perspective and content connected to real business decisions.
Where verified reporting supports it, the relationship between content consistency, platform growth and increased brand visibility becomes visible in the numbers below.
The project established an ongoing communication structure across LinkedIn, Instagram, X and YouTube. Instead of relying on direct product messaging, TCI now participates in conversations around commercial risk, economic change, growth and business decision-making — the same conditions that ultimately shape demand for its services.
The result is not simply more content or larger numbers. It is a clearer role for the brand in the information environment of its audiences, supported by measurable audience growth and platform visibility.
