01 — Zeyrek Çinili Hamam UX Design / UI Design / Booking Experience / Responsive Web

Designing a clearer booking experience for more than one kind of visit.

Zeyrek Çinili Hamam's main website was being renewed. Its booking experience needed to evolve with it — visually and functionally.

We redesigned the complete booking interface across desktop and mobile, making treatments easier to understand, choices easier to compare and more complex booking scenarios easier to manage.

Context

A booking experience that needed to catch up with the brand.

The existing booking site no longer reflected the visual language of Zeyrek Çinili Hamam's renewed digital presence.

But the problem went beyond aesthetics.

The experience was difficult to navigate, treatment options were not easy to evaluate and the flow became particularly cumbersome when users needed to manage different guests, treatments or booking scenarios.

Before
The interface asked users to interpret too much.
The challenge

Too many decisions. Not enough clarity.

A booking journey asks users to make several decisions in succession: what to book, for whom, when, and what to do next.

In the previous experience, these choices were not always presented in a way that made them easy to understand or compare.

Multi-guest bookings added another layer of complexity.

The redesign needed to make that complexity feel simple without removing the flexibility the booking system required.

Strategic decision

Design around the decision, not the system.

We approached the experience from the user's point of view rather than the structure of the booking platform.

At every stage, the interface needed to answer a simple question:

What do I need to decide now?

This principle shaped the hierarchy, content and progression of the booking journey.

One decision per step — the journey's progress navigation
Treatment selection

From a list of services to choices users can actually compare.

Treatment options were reorganised so users could understand what each experience included before making a selection.

Multi-guest booking

Different guests. Different treatments. One booking journey.

Guest selection and scheduling were designed to accommodate different treatments and different visitors within the same booking journey.

Scheduling

Complexity stays in the system. Clarity stays with the user.

Availability, timing and booking summaries were brought into a clearer hierarchy so users could understand both their current choice and what would happen next.

Different types of visit

One destination. Different reasons to visit.

Different visit types — including hammam and museum experiences — were given distinct journeys while remaining part of one consistent digital system.

Responsive experience

The same logic, across every screen.

The booking experience was designed for both desktop and mobile, preserving the same hierarchy and decision flow across different screen sizes.

The goal was not simply to make the desktop interface smaller, but to maintain clarity where booking behaviour is often most immediate: on mobile.

Before / After
Before

A fragmented interface with difficult-to-scan options and a booking flow that required too much interpretation from the user.

After

A calmer, more coherent experience organised around selection, scheduling and clear next steps.

Outcome

A booking experience designed to make complex choices feel simpler.

The result is a visually renewed and responsive booking experience aligned with Zeyrek Çinili Hamam's wider digital identity.

A clearer hierarchy and more structured booking flows allow the experience to accommodate both straightforward reservations and more complex booking scenarios without overwhelming the user.
