03 — Başka Resort Bodrum Social Strategy / Creative Direction / Content Systems

A new resort needed more than a feed.
It needed a world.

Başka Resort Bodrum opened with a distinctive idea at its core: a contemporary Aegean village by the sea.

Our task was to translate that physical experience into a social presence from day one — building visibility while making the place immediately recognisable.

01 — The context

Launching a new place into a crowded category.

Social communication began as the resort entered its first season.

Başka needed to build awareness quickly, introduce an entirely new destination and give people enough of a reason to want to discover it.

But simply showing rooms, pools, food and sunsets would not be enough.

In a category full of polished hospitality imagery, the real challenge was to turn the character of the resort into a communication language of its own.

The system, live in the feed
02 — The idea

Don't just show the hotel.
Build the feeling of the place.

Rather than treating Başka as a collection of amenities, we approached it as a place with its own rhythms, colours, rituals and small discoveries.

The sea. White walls. Yellow details. Morning light. Food. Shadows. Hidden corners. The view from a room. The walk to the beach. Together, they became the raw material for an evolving social world.

03 — The visual world
Simple. Natural. Vibrant.

The communication system took its cues from the resort itself. Blue and yellow became recurring visual anchors. White space and sunlight kept the world light. Handwritten typography introduced an informal, human layer.

Photography focused as much on details and atmosphere as on conventional destination imagery. The objective was consistency without repetition — a recognisable visual world flexible enough to stay alive throughout the season.

04 — Colour as content

Colour became more than a brand code.
It became a way of looking at the resort.

What is Yellow at Başka?

What is Yellow at Başka? turns everyday moments — architecture, food, textiles, sunlight and objects — into a recurring editorial story.

What is Blue at Başka?

Blue offered a second lens: sea, horizon, pool, tableware and the view beyond the room. Together, yellow and blue created a simple repeatable device that could expand without becoming formulaic.

05 — The property as an editorial subject

Walls of Başka

Some formats came directly from looking more closely at the property itself. Walls, passages, colour, light, architectural details and small discoveries became subjects rather than backgrounds.

Walls of Başka transformed architecture into an editorial series — revealing the resort one detail at a time.

06 — The system

A system, not a series of posts.

A consistent social presence needs more than individual ideas. We developed repeatable territories that allowed the brand to move between different parts of the Başka experience while maintaining one recognisable point of view.

Formats included Aegean Mood, Hidden Spots, In Details, morning and evening stories, food and gastronomy, architecture, sea, movement and seasonal moments — a content system capable of moving from quiet observation to active experience without losing the brand.

07 — Motion

Letting the place move.

Reels extended the same language into motion. Rather than relying only on conventional property tours, short films focused on transitions, small rituals, light, sea, architecture, food and the changing rhythm of the day.

The result was content designed to feel observed rather than staged.

08 — The result

A recognisable world from the first scroll.

Başka launched with a social language designed to feel bright without becoming generic, relaxed without becoming passive, and distinctly connected to its Aegean setting.

The system created a flexible foundation for ongoing seasonal communication — allowing different stories, formats and experiences to coexist within one recognisable brand world.
